Last year's ICCF was quite different in that we were waiting for a long time for the event to happen. It happened on November 23, 2016. This was due to the fact that MSUIIT's classes started on August 2016 so instead of the usual September schedule in time for the Iligan City fiesta celebration, they postponed it to November. Even though, we had so little time to prepare, the CCS participants emerged as Champions.

For the Open Digital Arts Competition, Mark Reyes, a BSCS sophomore took home the Championship.

For the College Quiz Show, Ralph Erick Marcial and John Gerald Agbayani bagged the Champion trophy. Accepting the award together with the IS chair Mr. Milbert Dialogo (1st from right) are the champions Mr. Agbayani (BSCS junior-2nd from left) and Mr. Marcial (BSCS junior-3rd from right).

For the open programming competition,Kleb Bayaras (BSCS junior-3rd from left) and Ivan Altomera (BSCS junior-2nd from left) won 2nd runner-up. They solved one problem in 29 minutes.

The Baccalaureate Ceremonies were very memorable and significant for the CCS graduates. The convocation program which followed the mass was very poignant in that the speakers really touched the hearts of those who listened. The Fr. Hayes awardee was Hon. Romy Tiongco, the mayor of Damulog Bukidnon. I myself was inspired by his words. He spoke with such conviction about his faith in God that I was close to tears. He was once a Jesuit priest. He was so eloquent. The Fr. Demetrio awardee was an artist. He too spoke with conviction about the cultural integration of the asean graduate. Overall, I was inspired by the speakers even though I was not graduating.
